For many years Pottery Barn has been one of the only national home décor retailers in the city, but that will all rapidly change this year with the arrival of Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams, Z Gallerie, Arhaus and West Elm. The first three will join the retail mix at The Shops at Clearfork, home to the new Neiman Marcus Fort Worth. All three are slated to open fall 2017.
West Elm will open in the West 7th development in a 10,502-square-foot, street-level space at 2869 West Seventh St. Among its modern furnishings, the store will include a selection of Texas-based brands and designers, as part of the store's LOCAL program. The store will also offer a design lab, offering consultation services with West Elm designers.
"The Cultural District is truly special, and West 7th is proud to be an integral part of this community," said Peter Jacobsen, senior vice president at The Woodmont Company, which manages leasing at West 7th. According to a news release, grand opening plans will be announced this summer.
