Twin sisters Bria and Tatiana Downey — executive chef and bartender, respectively, at Fort Worth restaurant Clay Pigeon — grew up spending the holidays exactly how you’d think they would: in the kitchen. Cooking. For hours.

Not much has changed since. This holiday, the Downeys are celebrating an especially big year — Bria took Fort Worth Magazine’s 2018 Top Chef title while Tatiana cheered her on.

Here, Tatiana shares a recipe for a celebratory cocktail to help ring in the spirit.

Cranberry Collins
1.5 ounces vodka
0.5 ounce Cointreau
1 ounce fresh lemon juice
0.5 ounce simple syrup
1 bar spoon cranberry sauce (homemade for best results)

Shake all ingredients, and fine strain into a Collins glass. Add ice. Top with Sprite. Lemon garnish. Cheers!
