The Near Southside is about to welcome another brewery. HopFusion Ale Works has started construction on its new home at 200 East Broadway, located just one block from Main St. The brewery is the brainchild of Macy Moore and Matt Hill, both long-time Fort Worth residents with a passion for home brewing. They're hoping to open their doors in late 2015 or early 2016, when they'll join Rahr & Sons, Collective, and Chimera Brewing Company in the trendy Magnolia/South Main district.
HopFusion's initial lineup will include four brews - Feisty Blonde Honey Vanilla Ale, Hairpin Session Ale, Steampipe Black Rye IPA, and Fur Slipper Imperial Milk Stout. The 8,500-square-foot brewery is also planning to have a taproom, an elevated backyard patio, a gallery featuring works by local artists, and, of course, plenty of bicycle parking.
