Torchy's green chile queso is like no other – it starts with the melted cheese and chopped green chiles, then topped off with guacamole, queso fresco, cilantro and their diablo hot sauce. You could eat this queso out of a spoon, but it's served with a side of homemade tortilla chips, if you prefer that sort of thing.

Special to the TCU and North locations, Fred's Texas Café serves a delicious queso worth melting over. Hot queso, house-made ground beef, cilantro, Mexican créma, guacamole made with jalepeños, and Fred's own “outlaw” spices all mixed together – what's not to love about that? Eat it with chips or try it on the queso burger.
