Aledo High School Bearcats Football
Folks in Aledo take high school football so seriously that an original television series, Titletown, TX, was created to follow the 2016 team. In 2013 the team became the first in high school history to score 1,000 points in a single season. Winner of six state championships, the 5A Aledo Bearcats are a force to be reckoned with.

Paschal High School Panthers Baseball
The Panthers finally roared back to prominence in baseball in 2016, going deep into the 6A playoffs after having shown little success in previous years. Later in the summer, the team rallied around the memory of one its stars, Drew Medford, who died in a car crash just before he was to enter TCU on scholarship as a baseball player.
