When did you start blogging?
I started food blogging back in 2011 but started taking it more seriously within the last two years. I started my blog, Food, Pleasure & Health, when I was doing my dietetic internship. I was learning so much about nutrition (and finally had my own kitchen) so I started a blog to document my experience.
If you had to choose just one, what is your favorite food?
I love food in general, but Japanese is my favorite cuisine.
What's your go-to recipe?
I really enjoy making thin-crust pizza at home. I have been using this recipe for many years now, and everyone enjoys it.
Pro-tip:
Spend more time in the kitchen, cook your own food when possible, and be open to trying new things.

Where did you start?
I had been taking photos of food since 2008, and then one year I was in Alaska for a photo shoot and my friends got me to download Instagram. I was instantly hooked. My first picture on Instagram is actually of coffee and a brownie in Anchorage, and I haven't looked back since.
Fast forward to November 2015, I was back in Anchorage for another shoot (and Instagramming everything of course), and my friends were like, "Dude, you should start a food blog!" I bounced the idea around with a few other friends in Mexico and they were all really supportive of the idea, so I just went ahead and launched the blog project last year: Wero Kitchen. I wanted it to be a space to share stories that centered around food, and how people across the world have shared so much of their lives with me through food.
If you had to choose just one, what is your favorite food?
Tacos, hands down. Tacos are the perfect meal. They're delicious, they're portable, there are endless varieties of stuffings and salsas, they can be breakfast, lunch, dinner, a snack, anything. They can be really be messy or really delicate. You can find them in people's homes, on street corners, or in some of the world's best restaurants. That's quite the accomplishment for any food.
What's your go-to recipe?
I cook a lot of different dishes in a lot of different styles -- Spanish, Brazilian, Italian, Indian, Puerto Rican -- but my heart is really in Mexican cooking. There is something about the aroma of corn tortillas and chiles that is really satisfying.
Pro-Tip:
Go into cooking with a positive attitude. I feel like we as Americans have this weird food culture that says cooking is this hard, arduous task and that a complete meal for your whole family should be prepared in no more than 30 minutes. Get rid of that expectation and your life will be so much easier. Take some time, slow down, make something you enjoy to eat, share it with those around you and savor the process.

Where did you start?
It started as just a personal Insta account, but as I have been expanding my career as a pastry chef, it has turned into a place for me to share my work and love of food.
If you had to choose just one, what is your favorite food?
It doesn't get any better in my opinion than a flaky almond croissant and a cup of strong coffee.
What's your go-to recipe?
My favorite food to make is definitely any type of tart. I love that a really great, buttery tart shell can be a vehicle for all kinds of delicious fruit, creams, custards and anything else you can think of.
Pro-Tip:
Get the right tools. You will realize you're capable of all kinds of delicious desserts when you have the right tools to create them. The one thing I could not live without is my cake turntable. It completely revolutionized how I decorate cakes. I went from baffling at the abilities of cake decorators to doing it myself once if was given the right tools and a couple lessons.

Where did you start?
I started my food account last February 2016.
If you had to choose just one, what is your favorite food?
My favorite food to eat would have to be sushi.
What's your go-to recipe?
I enjoy baking deserts more than cooking food. My favorite dessert to make is chocolate chip cookies.
Pro-Tip:
Whenever you are following a recipe to make something, follow the recipe accurately, but make sure to add your own individual touch to it to make it unique and flavorful!

Where did you start?
I started good blogging via Instagram last year. A friend from LA recommended I try Hello Fresh (a meal kit service). I fell in love with Hello Fresh and started posting pics using their hashtag, and it started to grow from there.
If you had to choose just one, what is your favorite food?
A hearty, flavorful prime steak with some decadent sides and a luxurious cabernet.
Pro-Tip:
Regarding home cooks, I think the most misunderstood and improperly used spices in the kitchen are salt and pepper. Properly seasoning each component of a dish builds depth of flavor. I learned that in a cooking class at Central Market, and that's my second tip: take classes. They are great fun and a great way to expand your knowledge and build your foodie community.

Where did you start?
I started blogging with two of my friends. We used it as a way to track the restaurants we've been to. The reason behind that was because we didn't trust many online reviews since we had often been disappointed. As time went on I took on more of the writing. But it was off and on. More recently I've gotten into Instagram, and my boyfriend is now a contributor to many posts. I'm looking to start blogging more often by sharing recipes and eventually doing videos.
If you had to choose just one, what is your favorite food?
That's a question that'll get different answers depending on the time, but cuisine-wise it's hands down Cambodian. For my boyfriend, it's salsa verde chicken enchiladas -- the spicier the better.
What's your go-to recipe?
Shepherd's pie, Pati Jinich's Mexican lasagna and ribs.
Pro-Tip:
Learn to cook a whole chicken. It's often cheaper to buy, juicier when cooked right (get a food thermometer -- mine is a Weber Instant Read Thermometer), and the leftover meat is great for other dishes.
