Four more vendors have signed on to be part of Crockett Row at West 7th's 16,000-square-foot food hall, a concept expected to open within the first half of 2018. Chef John Tesar's Knife Burger and Chicago-based The Dapper Doughnut were among the first vendors to be announced for the project. Here are a few more, and one of them has a former TCU football player behind it.
Not Just Q
Former TCU linebacker David Hawthorne will make his way back to Fort Worth from Dallas, bringing his popular food truck Not Just Q to Crockett Row. The menu includes, well, barbecue, as well as Tex-Mex inspired items like brisket nachos and tacos served with a Mexican slaw.
Press Waffle Co.
Belgian Liege-style waffles and locally roasted coffee are the focus at Press Waffle Co., which has another location at Legacy Food Hall in Plano. Customers will be able to build their own waffles with toppings like peanut butter, sprinkles and fruit, or choose from a menu of specialties like The House (Nutella, cookie butter and fresh cut strawberries with housemade whipped cream) and The Soulman (fried chicken tenders, bacon crumbles and pure maple syrup). Press Waffle Co. is owned by brothers Bryan and Caleb Lewis.
Graze
Famed Fort Worth Chef Grady Spears, known for his Horseshoe Hill Cafe in the Stockyards, will open a comfort food concept at the food hall. The signature dish — chicken and biscuits.
A sushi concept by the team behind Tokyo Café
Tokyo Café owners Jarry and Mary Ho and Chef Kevin Martinez will bring sushi to the food hall. The menu will offer a mix of Crockett Row-exclusive rolls, as well as popular rolls from Tokyo Café. Counter service and grab-and-go options will be available.
