Crockett Row at West 7th's FOODHALL is officially opening its doors Dec. 7-8, celebrating its grand opening weekend with live music and giveaways.
FOODHALL, located at 3000 Crockett St., will feature several local restaurants in one 16,000-square-foot facility. A few to look out for are:
Butler's Cabinet
Chef Joshua Harmon brings a deli and marketplace offering an assortment of sandwiches and handcrafted beverages. It's claim to fame — the Deviled Belly Melt, made with pork, homemade American cheese and maple-miso smoked onions.
Abe Froman's of Fort Worth
Chef Victor Villarreal brings this homemade pizza and sausage concept, offering an assortment of fresh pizza toppings. The signature pizza will feature a sausage meatball-stuffed crust with ricotta and pear relish, topped with more sausage.
Rollin' n Bowlin'
A fast and fresh concept created by two TCU students, Sophia Karbowski and Austin Patry, will offer fresh acai and pitaya bowls.
The Dock
This food truck-turned-restaurant from Chef Brett Curtis will offer coastal seafood fare, including New England-style lobster rolls and Terrapin crab cake sliders.
Knife Bar
This full-service bar will offer wine and beer on tap and in bottles, craft cocktails, frozen cocktails and a selection of cocktails on tap.
EB2
This Mexican street food-inspired concept comes from the creative mind of Chef Justin Box, offering an elote bar with an assortment of toppings and a rotating menu of fruit con chile.
Knife Burger
Executive Chef John Tesar brings a selection of premium burgers — the pimento coming topped with 3 ounces of pimento cheese, sautéed onions, bibb lettuce and tomato slices all on a white bun.
Press Waffle Co.
The once-food-truck-now-restaurant brings loaded Belgian waffles — the house waffle comes topped with nutella, cookie butter, fresh strawberries and house whipped cream. If you can't find one to your liking, you can take the build-your-own route.
Not Just Q
This barbecue spot, run by former TCU football player David Hawthorne, serves brisket, pork, chicken, sausage and turkey — by the pound, as a sandwich or in taco form.
Shawarma Bar
This Mediterranean street food concept will offer a menu of roasted meats and customizable shawarma bowls, as well as a selection of vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options.
Aina Poke Co.
Owner Kevin Nguyen Ho serves up a taste of Hawaii with high-quality, sushi-grade fish and fresh vegetables in poke bowl form.
Gigi's Cupcakes
Gigi's will offer not just cupcakes but also cakes, cookies and other baked goods. Gluten-friendly options will be available as well.
FOODHALL will open daily at 11 a.m., and from Sunday to Wednesday, be open until 9 p.m., Thursdays until midnight, and Fridays and Saturdays until 2 a.m.
