The cross-pollination between Fort Worth and Dallas concepts continues — Crockett Row at West 7th will welcome Dallas-based eatery STIRR when it opens at 3028 Crockett St. later this year, filling the spot recently vacated by Kona Grill.

The popular cocktail bar and neighborhood restaurant offers lunch, dinner, weekend brunch, happy hour and late night options. Well-known for its weekend brunch, STIRR’s most popular menu items include the giant housemade cinnamon roll, the STIRR Croissandwich and French toast stuffed with either banana nut, pineapple or mixed berries.

“Crockett Row is thrilled to welcome STIRR to Fort Worth,” said Monica Bermea, marketing director of Crockett Row. “STIRR’s fun vibe and menu of delicious dishes and drinks will be a great addition for Fort Worth locals and visitors to enjoy.”

The design of STIRR's Crockett Row location promises “Instagrammable” moments for diners to engage with the space — from vibrant tile backdrops to neon signage and stairs with inspirational messages.

Fort Worth and Dallas have been experiencing a cross-pollination of sorts in the restaurant scene. While STIRR hails from Dallas’s Deep Ellum, other Fort Worth restaurants have headed east. The West Seventh area exported Revolver Taco Lounge, which got its start in Fort Worth (first on West Seventh and later on Forest Park) two years ago. Soon after setting up shop in Deep Ellum, owner and chef Regino Rojas received his first James Beard nod in 2018 (the only Dallas/Fort Worth chef recognized last year). And again this year, Rojas finds himself a semifinalist for Best Chef-Southwest by the James Beard Foundation.

Likewise, Oni Ramen, which began in Crockett Row, recently planted a new location in Deep Ellum as well.

Crockett Row will announce the opening date of STIRR's Fort Worth location at Crockett Row in the coming months.
