Dallas-based Avanti Ristorante will open its second metroplex and first Fort Worth location in the One City Place development (formerly Tandy Center) in mid-March. The Italian-Mediterranean spot is an Uptown Dallas mainstay popular for its “moonlight breakfast” from midnight to 3 a.m. on weekends.
The Fort Worth location will be accessible through The Worthington Hotel via skybridge. Features will include complimentary valet (a sure sign of a Dallas offshoot), wine on tap, patio seating and a large private dining room for special occasions.
Originally planned for a November 2015 debut, the opening has been pushed back multiple times. But, a recent Facebook post makes a mid-March opening look promising. Photos showcase tufted leather benches, large windows and statement-making chandeliers
The Dallas location has been open for more than 30 years on McKinney Avenue offering live entertainment in the evenings, plus breakfast items like the signature Avanti Omelet, Italian sausage, mushrooms, green peppers and feta cheese. The dinner menu teases indulgences like a 6-pound lobster tail over linguini with shrimp, 14-pound grilled rib eye and Italian ceviche.
Other recently announced tenants for One City Place include Dallas-based Wild Salsa followed by Chop House Burger, as reported in the Spring 2016 issue of FW Inc.
