A brand new ice cream shop is, ahem, rolling into Foch Street on Friday.
Chills 360, which specializes in rolled ice cream, will celebrate its grand opening at 1005 Foch Street, where the Wag pet shop used to be. Beginning at 5 p.m., the shop will offer door prizes and photo opportunities with the Mr. Chills mascot, along with its signature ice cream.
This is the third location for the Dallas-based company, which serves flavors like Monkey Business (banana and Nutella) and What the Fudge (fudge brownie). Chills 360 freezes flavored milk onto a cold pan that reaches minus 16 degrees, then rolls the ice cream into the shape of a scroll. The practice originated in Thailand.
Chills 360 customers can top their ice cream with items like fruit, candy and toasted marshmallows. The shop also offers rolled ice cream tacos, placing ice cream in brightly colored waffle cone shells.
