Crockett Row at West 7th keeps catering to the sweet tooth with ice cream sandwiches, macarons, and now, cinammon rolls. Vegan cinamon rolls, at that.
Cinnaholic will open Friday at 817 Currie St., serving vegan cinnamon rolls made without dairy, lactose, eggs or cholesterol. The bakery has over 30 frosting flavors — including amaretto, marshmallow and peanut butter — and more than 20 topping choices, from pecans to cookie dough. To celebrate the grand opening, Cinnaholic will offer $1 cinnamon rolls from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
This is the first Fort Worth location for the Berkeley, California-based cinnamon roll chain. The concept garnered national attention after it appeared on the ABC show "Shark Tank" in 2014.
“There is a tremendous amount of excitement to serve our award-winning cinnamon rolls to the people of Fort Worth,” said Shellana Morris, owner of the Cinnaholic location in Fort Worth. “I'm so excited to bring such a delicious and allergy-friendly dessert to this bustling neighborhood."
