Set to open at the end of the month, Mudsmith is the latest of many businesses to call Fort Worth home. The second location of the Dallas-based coffee shop will open in The Shops at So7 across the street from Barcadia. Jesse Carrasco, Mudsmith’s director of operations, is optimistic about this new venture. He says Mudsmith is much more than just a coffee shop.
“Fort Worth can expect amazing customer service, great food, and good coffee,” states Carrasco as he hurries to put the finishing touches on their newest location before opening to the public.
Deciding to join the budding coffee scene in Fort Worth after finding success in Dallas, the coffee shop has a little something for everyone. Not only does Mudsmith offer great local brews of coffee, they also have craft beer, wine, and artisan sandwiches. Some unique menu options are the Nola-style shaved ice, fresh-squeezed juices, and build-your-own craft beer six pack.
Mudsmith owners vow to “keep it local” by partnering with other Fort Worth businesses to offer customers truly one-of-a-kind experiences, including unique touches like putt putt on the patio.
The coffee shop plans to have a soft opening for the neighborhood before opening their doors to the public. Follow Mudsmith on Instagram and Facebook for more info on opening plans.
