Stay with me on this one. West Berry Street restaurant Americado, which announced last week that it was closing after being open for less than a year, has now announced that it will reopen. In a Facebook post today the restaurant said, “We love Fort Worth and we want to bet on this town. So, we have raised more capital and decided to re-open and hope that we can get more traffic to this area.”
The restaurant which originally opened in March 2017 as a Mexico City-style market, eventually altered its concept to be more user friendly, before announcing on Oct. 30 that its last day of business would be Nov. 5. They cited rent cost and a lack of traffic in the area as a reason for closing.
Here's hoping round two brings more people in the door.
