The Texas Rangers are playoff-bound, and so are a few new menu items created specifically for the team's postseason run.
The Rangers and Delaware North Sportservice, the company that manages food and retail at Globe Life Park, announced the four foods on Monday. Check it out:
The TamArlington Dog
It's a hotdog...no, it's a tamale...no, it's..the TamArlington Dog. This chili and nacho cheese-smothered hotdog tamale will be available in Section 25 of the ballpark.
The Popcornopolis Pita
Call it a triple play in a pita bread -- brisket, macaroni and cheese, and Popcornopolis caramel popcorn, all in one bite. The Popcornopolis Pita can be found in Sections 24 and 49.
The N.E.Q. Sandwich
Waffle fries and fried mozzarella as a side item? Not so with this sandwich. That -- plus philly cheesesteak, provolone cheese, fried jalepeno slices and onion rings -- are all packed into one sandwich, drizzled with white queso and served with a side of Captain Morgan dipping sauce. Anyone with a game ticket can find this item at the Captain Morgan Club.
The Atomic Burger
This burger is stuffed with a two-pound patty, ghost pepper cheese sauce and all the fixings. Find it in Section 26.
The first game of the American League Division Series is set for Oct. 6. The Rangers will face the winner of the A.L. Wild Card game, either the Baltimore Orioles or Toronto Blue Jays.
