Arlington foodies will no longer have to take the half-hour trek to Fort Worth or Dallas for Cane Rosso's pizza.
Urban Union, a retail space in downtown Arlington, is expanding, and the authentic Neapolitan pizza restaurant will be one of the first new additions.
“We've had customers asking us to come to Arlington for years, and we finally felt the neighborhood vibe we were looking for with Urban Union,” Cane Rosso owner Jay Jerrier said in a statement.
Built in 2016 and known for its modern and industrial look, Urban Union will add more than 55,000 square feet of restaurants, stores, bars and housing for a total of around 8 acres.
“What we are building along East Front Street will complement Urban Union's creative vibe while continuing to add density, connectivity and Instagram-worthy spaces to downtown,” said developer Ryan Dodson.
As for Cane Rosso, the new location will feature an expansive patio with an expanded pasta and salad menu, full-service bar and popular brick-oven pizzas.
The restaurant will be located on the corner of East Front and North East streets in the former Joe's Radiator building. It's expected to open in late 2019.
