See Inside MELT Ice Creams' New Dallas Location

Melt Ice Creams

Dallas brands opening in Fort Worth is one thing — but when it's the other way around, that's another.

The next Fort Worth brand to take on the Dallas market is MELT Ice Creams, celebrating with a grand opening party at its Bishop Arts District location Friday, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The new shop — located at 405 N. Bishop Ave., Ste. 100 — came to life when longtime friends and owners of ENO’s Pizza Tavern proposed the idea of utilizing their Side Dough spot, located in the same building, to create MELT’s first Dallas locale and the company's second brick and mortar (the first is now a fixture on Magnolia Avenue, open since 2016).

The 500-square-foot space — whose design takes inspiration from its Magnolia Avenue sister location,  a black, white and yellow color scheme — will be a “Micro Scoop Shop,” according to MELT, serving the company’s six most popular flavors: Beans, Chocolate Chocolate, Cookie Crack, Saltlick, Cup Of TX and Velvet Vegan, plus the Always Sammie. The location will also be scooping five additional seasonal ice cream flavors and locally-infused concoctions.

“We are so excited to be in one of our favorite neighborhoods in DFW, the Bishop Arts District,” owner Kari Crowe-Seher said. “Our entire MELT team is proud to join a community filled with independent shop owners. We love the entrepreneurial spirit of the neighborhood and can’t wait to get to know more Dallas friends, make new partnerships and bring even more creative flavors to our new location while sharing our fun and creative ice cream.”
