The annual Fort Worth, Texas magazine Best Of Fort Worth party is upon us. Join us tonight Friday, June 3, 2016 at 6 p.m. at Mopac Event Center. There won’t be a dull minute during a night packed with Fort Worth’s finest foods, beverages, and entertainment. Here are just few things to know about the event.
After you're done reading this post, we know you'll want to buy tickets. You can snag them here.
Fort Worth favorite, Mama’s Pizza, will make sure guests don’t leave hungry. As if there were any chance. All guests get a personal-size Mama’s Pizza when the party is over.
Make sure you come hungry. Best Of will be serving up all of Fort Worth’s finest bites – Thai Wings and Korean Beef Tacos from Pouring Glory, Shrimp and Grits Croquettes from Fixture, Flank Steak and Garlic Mashed Potatoes from Texas de Brazil, Seared Tuna and all sorts of awesome rolls from Piranha’s Killer Sushi, cheeses and sweets from Bistro Louise – just to name a few.
Wear your purple, because the Best Of party will become a de facto game-watching party for the TCU baseball game. Fresh off the Big XII Tournament championship, the Horned Frogs play Oral Roberts at 6:30 p.m. in their first game of the Fort Worth regional.
Not only is there an open bar (beer, wine, liquor), but Spirits by Sedona will also be wetting whistles with a unique craft cocktail made especially for the guests of Best Of.
Get your fill of the bubbles thanks to a champagne chandelier.
You only pay one time– just $75 for entry – for a night of endless food, drinks, and live entertainment. BUY TICKETS HERE
Mopac Event Center, unknown to most, is located behind University Village, about five minutes from downtown Fort Worth. You can party with the Best Of Fort Worth in the middle of town.
We know, we know it won’t stop raining, but rain or shine the Best Of party has you covered, literally, from a tented check-in line to a spacious indoor venue to a covered patio-area. Staying dry won’t be a problem.
There will be an assortment of live music entertainment that is guaranteed to keep your feet movin’ and hips shakin’ all night. Pardis Gras cover band, Cut Throat Finches, and the Dueling Pianos from Pete’s Piano Bar – all locally based – have all the musical needs covered.
Make sure to head over to Club Glow, where Eclipse Entertainment will set the mood with a vibrant state-of-the-art LED dance floor and a glowing ambiance. There will be shadow box dancers, a living disco ball, and much more.
What is a party without photo booths and selfie-stations? Come join us and be prepared to capture all your favorite moments of the night.
See you there! If you haven't already purchased your tickets, you can do so here.
