Fan of dance? Social development program Dancing Classrooms North Texas will host its semi-finals at Southwest High School, FWISD (4100 Altamesa Blvd, Fort Worth, TX 76133) from 6-7:30 pm this evening.
The event is free to attend and will feature one hundred and fifty-six fifth graders performing the salsa, tango, swing, and more for a chance to compete in the Colors of the Rainbow finals on May 17, 2016.
This is the tenth anniversary season of Dancing Classrooms North Texas, which aims to teach respect and break down social barriers through the common language of dance. The program is in 120 classrooms and serves about 4,000 students across the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. For more information, visit dancingclassroomsnt.org.
