Cowtown Stardom - Fashions of Fort Worth's FamousBenefiting Historic Fort Worth, Inc., this new short-term "pop-up" exhibit will pay homage to celebrities who have helped put Fort Worth "on the map." Clothing is iconic and evokes memories; signature clothing and accessories from more than 40 Fort Worth celebrities will be displayed throughout Thistle Hill along with the stories that accompany them.

Panther Island IceFort Worth's only outdoor ice skating rink is back. Boasting an even bigger outdoor ice rink this season with real ice, Panther Island Ice offers public skating, seasonal music and family fun for all ages. Panther Island Ice, will be located at Coyote Drive-In and will have the Downtown skyline as a picturesque backdrop. While the ice rink will be separate from the drive-in and a ticket to Coyote won’t be necessary to skate, Panther Island Ice patrons can still utilize Coyote amenities such as restrooms and the popular Coyote Canteen. Panther Island Ice will be open seven days a week including holidays such as Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.

Art in the Park: Watercolor Using Nature's Fall ColorsA staff artist will demonstrate watercolor techniques and simple sketching. These skills can help with nature journaling. If you have these, please bring: a sketchbook or paper for wet media, pencil, eraser, school grade watercolor paint and a small container for water. A pointed #10 paintbrush makes it easy to apply color. Paper, a few brushes, paint and other supplies will be available for use. Art experience helpful but is not necessary.
