Valentine's Day is a day of expressing your love to those you care about. The day is filled with food and fun and we have compiled a list of restaurants and events that you should check out on Valentine's Day.
Del Frisco's Grille

Celebrate Valentine's Day with brunch, lunch or dinner at any of the DFW Del Frisco's Grille locations. They will be offering extended brunch hours Feb. 13-14 from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. They will be serving guest favorites such as the Red Velvet Belgian Waffle and The Grille Benedict. They also have special Valentine's Day cocktails you can sip on during your meal. They created the Cupid's Cocktail, a romantic cocktail made with Stoli Razberi and Pomegranate Juice. Save room for dessert because they are offering the Triple Chocolate Decadence, a special Valentine's Day dessert made with Chocolate Brownie, Chocolate Pudding, Fudge and Chocolate Heart.
Del Frisco's will serve regular lunch and dinner menus.
Clay Pigeon

Clay Pigeon is typically closed on Sunday's, but this restaurant is open Sunday, Feb. 14 from 5 to 10 p.m. for friends and loved ones. Executive chef & owner Marcus Paslay is offering a fresh, three-course prix fixe menu.
The first course includes a choice of either the seasonal soup or the Shaved Pear & Frisée Salad with candied pecans, blue cheese and house vinaigrette. The second course offers a choice of Oak-grilled Beef Tenderloin with potato puree and roasted brussels sprouts, the fresh catch of the day with seasonal accompaniments or Chef Paslay's selection housemade pasta. Finally, the third course includes a choice of Chocolate Pot de Creme infused with Avoca coffee topped with bourbon and vanilla whipped cream or the Mixed Berry Galette with housemade ice cream. Suggested wine offerings for each dish will be available.
The prix fixe menu is $65 per person. The bar opens at 4:30 p.m.

Spend Sunday, Feb. 14 in a vibrant atmosphere with specialty sashimi and maki offerings and pair your dinner with unique cocktails. The specialty maki and sashimi offerings are The Kampai Tampico and the Holiday Hamachi. The Kampai Tampico, which is the specialty maki, has onion rings, avocado, cucumber, red pepper, cilantro, miso panca sauce and bbq soy paper. The Holiday Hamachi has cinnamon cured hamachi, grand marnier, cranberry chutney, Thai basil, serrano pepper and cranberry vinaigrette. A Chef's Special dessert will be offered to finish the evening.

Bird Café is offering a special "Love Bird Sunday" menu on Valentine's Day. This is a romantic three-course prix fixe menu with choices in each course.
The first course offers a choice of the Crab, Leek, Potato and Sherry Soup, the Little Gem and Treviso Salad with Caesar dressing and olive bread croutons or the Foie Gras Mousse with champagne, jelly, toasted brioche and sea salt. The second course offers a choice of the Pan Fried Sole with chopped shrimp, roasted tomato lobster sauce, toasted farro with “hen of the woods” mushrooms, the Top Sirloin Roast with smoked portabello mushrooms, potato puree and creamed Texas spinach or Pair of Roast Quail butternut squash, sausage and sourdough stuffing, cauliflower risotto, spiced syrah glaze. The dessert is a choice between the Raspberry Panna Cotta with pickled raspberries and cream or the Chocolate Mascarpone Espresso Cake.

Zyn 22
Zyn22 is doing a special Valentine's Day share the love event. All you have to do is sign up for any of the five Valentine's Day ride times and it will allow you to pick a non-profit organization you love for Zyn to donate $5 to. The organizations you can choose are the Lena Pope Home, Operation Kindness, Vogel Alcove, and El Tesoro de la Vida.

Four Day Weekend

Need some laughs during Valentine's weekend? The critically-acclaimed Four Day Weekend is the perfect comedy show to attend after a dinner date in downtown Fort Worth. This talented group of individuals will keep you laughing and make you want to go back for more.
They have shows on February 12 and 13 at both 7:30 and 10 p.m. Tickets can be bought ahead of time online for $20 each. It's best to buy them online in advance because they tend to sell out quick.
Fort Worth Symphony Presents West Side Story at Bass Hall
Spend an evening at Bass Hall listening to the Latin rhythms and romantic tunes performed by the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra. The FWSO and guest performer Javier Perianes will be performing songs from of one of the most popular musicals, West Side Story.
The Fort Worth Symphony will be at Bass Hall February 12, 13, and 14. Tickets are available online at the Fort Worth Symphony's website.
Cutting Edge Haunted House
Haunted Houses are not just meant for Halloween anymore. Cutting Edge Haunted House will be opening their doors during Valentine's Day weekend. Cutting edge will not only scare you, but it might bring you and your significant other a little bit closer together.
Cutting Edge is opening up February 13 and 14 from 8-10 p.m. They are open rain or shine so nothing will spoil your fun. Tickets are available for purchase online.
Painting with a Twist
Feeling creative? Want to paint a masterpiece? Painting with a Twist offers painting events during Valentine's weekend. Whether you are the next Picasso or not, Painting with a Twist is great for skills of all levels. It is also BYOB. You can learn to paint, drink wine and have fun! It makes for a great date night or night with your friends. The paintings for the Valentine's weekend will revolve around the theme of love.
They have their designs posted online for you to see ahead of time and choose which one you would like to do. They have different times available for you to pick from. You can register online to RSVP your spot. Each spot is $35.
