A range of new spaces — and views — is coming to downtown Fort Worth with the construction of four new high-rise buildings. Here's a rundown of what's to come:
Frost Tower
Where: 640 Taylor St.
Number of Stories: 25
Expected Completion Date: Early 2018
Developed by Anthracite Realty Partners, the corporate building is expected to have a professional but comfortable atmosphere, with facilities like a fitness center available to those working in the offices. Frost Tower will also offer a Wi-Fi accessible Sky Lobby, a café and beverage bar, and concierge services like dry cleaning, vehicle fuel fill-up and vehicle maintenance drop-off.
The Worth
Where: West Bluff Street, Mills Street and West Peach Street
Number of Stories: 24
Expected Completion Date: 2018
The Worth is a luxury residential condominium tower with 115 units developed by Zamco Properties LLC. It will feature valet services, panoramic views of Fort Worth, a fitness center, a saltwater pool and spa, as well as cabanas. The units will be styled in a classic and contemporary way, with walls of glass and balconies designed by GDA Architects. Kitchens will come fully equipped with high-end appliances and gas cooktops. The sales office is expected to open nearby in early 2018, offering detailed renderings of the available spaces.
Marriott AC Hotel
Where: 111 W. Fifth St.

With locations in Europe and Central America, and now across the U.S., the Marriott AC Hotel is opening a site in Fort Worth adjacent to the Kress Building. Bringing its signature flair of hand-crafted art, wooden decorations, and innovative design, the hotel will have 218 rooms and will be developed by Jackson-Shaw.
901 Commerce Project
Where: 901 Commerce St.
Number of Stories: 32
Expected Completion Date: TBD
GDA Architects received conceptual approval from the Downtown Design Review Board for the building's design and will seek final approval from the board at a later date. This high-rise apartment building is estimated to be anywhere from 250,000-280,000 square feet upon completion. The developers of the project, Southern Land Company, are expected to build on a plot of land where there is an existing parking garage contiguous to the Billy Miner's Building.
