Funnel cakes, turkey legs and (Fletcher's) corn dogs, oh my. Fort Worth's most anticipated annual family festival is back again. Head out to Trinity Park this Thursday through Sunday to enjoy live music, tasty festival food, carnival rides, free children's activities and so much more. For more than 43 years Mayfest has brought the Fort Worth community together on the beautiful banks of the Trinity River to celebrate the best that Fort Worth has to offer.
Entertainment
More than 40 local bands, including entertainers like Zack Coffey and Poo Live Crew, will showcase a wide variety of music on three different stages. The festival has four remaining stages for you to satisfy your artistic side, which will host a variety of skilled entertainers from tap dancing to martial arts and everything in between.
EECU Mayfest Run
Burn the funnel cakes before you attend and start the day off with a crisp and refreshing run, walk or stroll along the scenic banks of the Trinity on Saturday morning. Along with the tranquil beauty of the river, those who register for the EECU Mayfest Run also get the opportunity to delight in a stunning outline of downtown Fort Worth as they run. As if that weren't enough to get your running shoes on, registration for the run also comes with free admission to all four days of the festival.
Art and Gift Market
Don't forget your wallet, because more than 60 vendors will be set up in booths across the festival selling an assortment of goodies you wont want to pass up. Shop around for art, furniture, home accessories and other items that could make great gifts for Mother's Day or the graduate in your life.
Schedule and Ticket Info
Thanks to Lockheed Martin, members of the military get in free. Show your ID for active duty, retired, reserve, or student cadet and receive FREE admission for you and up to five family members every day of Mayfest 2016.
