Fort Worth, Texas magazine and Chef Jon Bonnell invite you to the first round of the 2016 Top Chef Challenge at Texas Appliance.
Our annual Top Chef competition “brings the heat” year after year, and 2016 is no exception. Our preliminary event will bring six of Fort Worth's talented chefs to compete for a spot in our final round. The event will allow attendees to taste some of the finest food our city has to offer. Guests will also enjoy complimentary wine and beer throughout the night.

4. American Cancer Society's Cowtown Ball
Grab your cowboy boots and brush up on your two-step for the 23rd annual Cowtown Ball. Help the American Cancer Society in North Texas raise money to aid cancer patients in our community. Fill your belly with "cowboy-style cuisine" while you listen to fantastic Country Music artist Aaron Tippin.

5. Sonny & Friends Rahr-B-Q Steak Cook Off Presented by Billy's Oak Acres
Do you love steak? Of course you do, you're in Texas. Tantalize your taste buds at this fierce steak cook-off, and with BBQ provided by Billy's Oak Acres. Beer, friends and food, all of which spells out a great time. Entry is $30 which gets you a wristband for beer and a meal ticket. That includes your musical entertainment, four beers and a dinner plate from Billy's Oak Acres BBQ. All proceeds for the event go to benefit the Hope Center 4 Autism.

7. Beatles Night 2016
