Slide the City is back - and this time it's taking over the Clearfork Bridge between Hulen Street and Bryant Irvin Road. The all-day block party includes slides down the 1,000-foot waterslide, live music, food and drinks. Sounds like a great way to cool down as we approach the end of July. Remember that all sliders must use an inflatable tube. Don't have one? Purchase one at the event. Tickets start at $18 for single sliders and go up to $99 for all-day access.

No, that's not a typo. Performing Arts Fort Worth presents this off-Broadway one-man show. Robert Dubac's show, a follow up to The Male Intellect: An Oxymoron?, which played at McDavid Studio in 2015, blends satire with intelligence. The New York Times says The Book of Moron "crashes head first into the barriers of sex, race, religion, politics and the media. It may be offensive to some but there's laughter for all."
