2. Modern Kids: Summer Flicks – Best of The New York Children's Film Festival
The Modern Art Museum invites you and all the kids to cool off and enjoy some of the best children's films from the 2016 New York International Children's Film Festival. For three days, films from the festival will be showing during Magnolia at the Modern - entry to the movies, as well as the galleries, is completely free to children viewers and adult chaperones. Give the kiddos a little taste of culture.

3. Four-Course Beer Dinner at Panther Island Brewing
Panther Island Brewing and Max's Wine Dive teamed up to create a delicious menu for their upcoming four-course beer dinner (the first course is passed appetizers, the other three are the actual meal). Each menu item was crafted by Max's Chef Victor Villarreal and made to go perfectly with each selected brew. Tickets are $80 per person plus tax and gratuity. The tickets include all food and drink, plus live musical entertainment.

4. Reading While Intoxicated Magnolia Pub Crawl
What? A pub-crawl hosted by a library? Who knew that was an actual thing that happened. The Fairmount Community Library invites Fort Worth to head out for a pub-crawl. Those participating will meet at Live Oak Music Hall between 6 p.m. – 7 p.m. to purchase a $10 wrist band. From there, drinkers will visit many Magnolia bars such as The Usual, The Bearded Lady, The Chatroom, The Boiled Owl, Upper 90 and 44 Bootlegger. Each participant will have access to a variety of drink specials for purchase at each bar. All proceeds will aid the library in operations and the continuance of free community programs.

5. Five-Course Beer Dinner at Kent & Co.
Kent & Co. is hosting a beer dinner. Yes, a beer dinner at a wine bar. Del Frisco's Executive Chef Anthony Felli's menu will explore the tastes of Central Coast Street Cuisine with beers to pair. The dinner will have 5 courses and 5 beers. Country music artist Brock Stevens will be performing. Tickets are $60 per person plus tax and gratuity. 6. Big Hoss TV Ultimate Drive-In – Star Wars: The Force Awakens
Head on over to Texas Motor Speedway to watch Star Wars: The Force Awakens on a really big screen. All you need is a car, your family and friends, and a cooler packed full of snacks and beverages. Advance tickets are $15 per car load, Day-Of tickets are $20 per car load. All proceeds benefit the Speedway Children’s Charities.
