What to Do This Weekend in Fort Worth

From music to shopping and everything in between, here are our picks for things to do this weekend.

Thursday, April 19

Sippin' and Shoppin', 6-8 p.m.
Shop and drink your way through the Stockyards. Participants will get to taste five different wines selected by Cowtown Winery during their shopping expedition and receive special promotions and discounts from participating stores. They’ll also get to enjoy live music, enter in raffles and keep a souvenir wine glass. Tickets are $12.

Beat the Brewer, 6-8 p.m.
Rahr & Sons Brewing Company is challenging you to a round of bocce at Pinstripes, and if you beat them, you win a free beer. Guests can sample Rahr & Sons’ seasonal favorites throughout the night as well.  

Monet + Rosé, 6-8 p.m.
Grab a bottle of rosé and some snacks for a two-hour painting class held at The Trailhead at Clearfork. All painting supplies are provided. BYOB for guests 21 and up. The cost is $35.

Saturday, April 21

Rockisland Fest, 5 p.m.-2 a.m.
Keep the party going after the MAIN ST. Fort Worth Arts Festival with Rockisland Fest at the Fort Worth Blackhouse. Browse vendors and enjoy food from 5-9 p.m. before LO, a Cuban-American indie-pop, singer-songwriter based in Dallas takes the stage. Following LO, Lizzi Trumbore, a jazz vocalist and composer will perform.

Doc’s Records Grand Opening, 11 a.m.-7 p.m.
Doc’s Records & Vintage is celebrating Record Store Day and a move to its new location in The Foundry District with a party. There will be free beer, 20 percent off Doc’s merchandise and live performances from noon to 5 p.m. Whiskey Folk Ramblers, Oil Boom, Elise Amara Music and more are set to play.

Sunday, April 22

Mudbugs & Music, 1-5 p.m.
Rahr & Sons is hosting its first annual Mudbugs & Music event. Tickets are $30, and proceeds will benefit Dream Park Fort Worth, Meals on Wheels of Tarrant County and Hope Fort Worth. Enjoy crawfish while listening to live music by Poo Live Crew.

Sweat-n-Sip, 10 a.m.
Work out, then dine out. TruFit is partnering with Varsity Tavern to host a boot camp followed by brunch Sunday morning. The price is $30 and covers the cost of the exercise class, one brunch menu item and two mimosas.
