Lots of art-themed events happening this weekend, whether it be pottery or painting. Or maybe just drinking. Here are our top picks.

Thursday, April 26

The Woods Fine Jewelry Trunk Show, 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
You Are Here is hosting The Woods Fine Jewelry for a trunk show this Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Designer Sam Hitchcock will be in the store Wednesday to talk about the different pieces that will be a part of the show.

Friday, April 27

Jazzercise & Jams, 6:30-7:30 p.m
The Trailhead at Clearfork and Fort Worth Jazzercise are partnering together to give you Jazzercise & Jams, a blend of pilates, yoga, kickboxing and strength training that targets every part of your body. Then head over to Press Cafe post-workout for cocktails.

Fortress Festival Pre-Party, 10 p.m.- 1 a.m.
Fortress Festival is this weekend, and to celebrate, Blackhouse is hosting a party. Dallas DJ Christy Ray, daughter of DJ Spinderella of Salt-N-Pepper, will be performing. Drippings Springs Vodka & Gin will be providing party goers with complimentary drinks. Tickets are $14 in advance or $17 the day of.

Dean Davidson Trunk Show, 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
His jewelry has been seen on celebs like Oprah, Jennifer Lopez and Lea Michele — now a collection from Dean Davidson will be at Pax & Parker all day Friday for a trunk show. Pax & Parker will be donating a percent of the trunk show sales to Lena Pope.

Kendra Gives Back, 6-8 p.m.
Another opportunity to shop for a cause: Enjoy complimentary drinks and light bites as you shop at Kendra Scott Clearfork, where 20 percent of the sales will benefit the ACH Child and Family Services.

Saturday, April 28

Pottery in the Grove, 10 a.m.- 6 p.m.
The Grove at Waterside will host a spring pottery show with artists from CERA Pottery Studio, TCC and the Texas Pottery and Sculpture Guide. Visitors can watch pottery demonstrations, learn about the art and sign up for classes.

Spring Japanese Festival, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
The Fort Worth Botanical Society and the Fort Worth Japanese Society are hosting the Japanese Spring Festival at the Fort Worth Botanic Garden. The festival will include taiko drummers, tea ceremonies, raku pottery, martial arts, Japanese dancers and more. The festival lasts through Sunday. 

West 7th Best Beard & Mustache Competition, 2-5 p.m.
Bar 2909 is hosting a beard and mustache competition with drink specials this Saturday. Enter to win either Best in Show, Best Beard or Best Mustache, with the North Texas Beard Alliance judging the competition.

Hops & Props, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
Enjoy live music, museum tours, beer tastings and flight shows as the Fort Worth Aviation Museum Club recognizes veterans of all eras. Tickets for the event are $30.
