Banana Republic, Levi's and Sketchers are just a few of the retailers set to join one of Fort Worth's newest shopping centers.
And construction has officially begun. Ground broke Thursday for the Tanger Factory Outlet Centers, a development off Interstate 35 and Texas State Highway 114 that's expected to have more than 350,000 square feet of retail space and more than 80 upscale brand name and designer outlet retailers. The outlets are expected to open in 2017.
Tanger expects to create more than 400 jobs during construction and more than 900 full and part-time jobs when the outlets open, according to a news release.
Other future retailers include a Nike Factory Store, Gap Factory Store, Old Navy Outlet, Express Factory Outlet and Carter's.
