2017 is shaping up to be a big year for new openings in Sundance Square. The newest shop to join the list? Earthbound Trading Co.
The lifestyle retailer, known for its nomadic (dare we say "hippie"?) clothing and home décor, will open in an approximately 2,900-square-foot space at 431 Houston St. The store will carry items like feather earrings, stone necklaces, men's and women's clothing, textiles and spa items like incense and essentials oils.
Construction will begin in August, and the store is expected to open before the holiday season.
Earthbound Trading Co. joins several retailers that opened in Sundance Square this year, including Yours Truly, Francesca's, and Parts Unknown. Additionally, the square opened restaurants like Istanbul Grill and Waters, as well as food market In the Sack, which replaced Oliver's Fine Foods after it closed in April.
“Houston Street is a prime location in Sundance Square for retail as we have added Parts Unknown, Houston Street Toy Co., Loft, Overland Sheepskin Co., and White House Black Market in the last few years,” said Johnny Campbell, president and CEO of Sundance Square. “Earthbound Trading Company is another great addition as they offer clothing apparel, jewelry, personal accessories, as well as home décor. This will be a true lifestyle shop in the heart of downtown Fort Worth.”
