One of Fort Worth's favorite pockets for endless dining and entertainment options continues to bring locals and visitors something new to the cultural district mix. A three-month series will leave West 7th passerbys and residents entertained from July to October.
Cowboy Palooza – Saturday, July 18 – 6 to 10 p.m.
Slide on your cowboy boots and two-step to live music from Katy Keenie, Two Ton Folk, Josh Halverson and Adrian Johnston. This Western celebration will feature street performers, various Western retail venders and headlining from Dalton Domino and the Front Porch Family Band.
Partners include the National Cutting Horse Association (NCHA) and Summer Cutting Spectacular at Will Rogers Memorial Center.
Attendance is free to the public.
Inaugural Chalk Art Festival – Saturday, Aug. 15 – noon to 8 p.m.
Calling all artists! Whether your talent gets mistaken for Monet or your tools of choice are Crayola crayons, this feature allows any professional or amateur to leave their mark on West 7th. Prizes will be available for first, second and third place winners by a board of celebrity judges.
Children are also free to participate in their own art creation area. Kids can design and doodle on bricks readily outlined.
Pop your creative hat on and enjoy live music all day from DJ Jason Esquire.
Proceeds for the event benefits The Art Station, a non-profit organization offering individual and group art therapy, as well as community programs for both children and adults.

6th Brewfest On Crockett – Craft Beer & Music Festival – Sunday, Sept. 19 – 5 to 10 p.m.
Enjoy live music from AC/DC tribute band, Back in Black, and indulge in seven different microbrews across the states. On-site food and beverages will be available for sale. Brews begin at $5 per glass.
Event is free to the public.
Bites & Flights – Sunday, Oct. 4 – 2 to 6 p.m.
This food and beverage tasting returns based on almost sold-out success from its launch in March. Sample various restaurants on West 7th along with wine tastings from Brennan Vineyards, Lost Oak Winery, Llano Estacado and more.
Each guest will receive a wristband at a cost of $25 per person.
A portion of the event's proceeds benefit Tarrant Area Food Bank.
