Save the date. The Fort Worth Zoo is doing something on Oct. 17 at 10 a.m.
The thing is, no one knows what it is, and the zoo won't tell anybody.
The one thing we do know is that it's going to be “big,” or so says an invitation from the zoo. In fact, the zoo promises it will be “bigger than a baby elephant” and “bigger than anything we've ever done.”
“Just trust us,” the invitation reads.
Pure speculation here, but we're guessing this reveal is connected to the “Get Wilder” campaign – you know, those purple, green and blue paint splatter graphics on billboards and signs all over Fort Worth. The advertisements have nothing more than information on how to sign up for updates on, well, whatever it's supposed to be. The website to do that is awildervision.com, whose homepage features a countdown to who knows what.
Whether the two deals are connected or not, something is happening at the Fort Worth Zoo, and everyone's going to find out on the 17th.
We'll keep you updated here on FWTX.com. Stay tuned.
