Whitley Penn is relocating to Frost Tower, Fort Worth's newest high-rise located at 640 Taylor St. The firm will occupy 45,872 square feet — two full floors of the building. The move will take place later this year.
“Whitley Penn is proud to be moving into a building where we can create a more collaborative space for our team,” Whitley Penn Managing Partner Larry Autrey said in a statement. “Frost Tower will allow our team the opportunity to work in a great building with access to the restaurants and amenities of downtown, while providing the business community of Fort Worth the convenience of our audit, tax and consulting professionals working in close proximity.”
Frost Tower, developed by Anthracite Realty Partners, is the first skyscraper to be built in downtown Fort Worth in more than 20 years. Local architect Bennett Benner Partners designed the building, while London-based builder Balfour Beatty Construction served as architect.
The buliding reaches 25 stories and offers 360-degree views of Fort Worth from every floor, along with amenities like an event venue and fitness center. The restaurant Perch, whose patio overlooks downtown from the 12th floor, opened in May.
With the addition of Whitley Penn, the building is 70 percent leased.
“It has been exciting to witness Whitley Penn's success over the past decade," Anthracite Realty president Laura Bird said in a statement. "They are well in tune with what it will take to thrive in the workplace of the future."
