The Professional Bull Riders and their Iron Cowboy event are returning to AT&T Stadium in Arlington Saturday for their ninth straight year.

The Winstar World Casino and Resort Iron Cowboy is one of four majors on the PBR circuit, and is a unique format that starts with the top 35 riders and five additional invitees. The winner gets a $100,000 bonus.

The PBR has grown in popularity, increasing fan attendance across the circuit to three million today from 310,000 in 1995, Sean Gleason, the PBR's CEO, says. The PBR has 26 regular tour stops.

"We've seen a lot of growth in the 18-34 demographic by plan," Gleason said in an interview. The PBR's audience is half men and a half women, with particular strength in the 32-55 range, he said. "We have a very broad and diverse demographic."
