A longstanding engineering firm continues to grow in Texas. Its next stop: Cowtown.
Jones|Carter, a full-service civil engineering, surveying and planning firm, is opening its ninth office location in Texas. The new office, located in Fort Worth, will offer proximity to ongoing projects as well as greater capacity for the Jones|Carter Team to take on new projects in the area.
This will be the second North Texas office for the company, which has offered engineering and surveying services in the Fort Worth-Dallas area for more than 20 years. Jones|Carter's expansion to Fort Worth is in response to the company's growing team and client base in North Texas, citing Fort Worth's recent growth as the fifth largest city in Texas and 15th largest in the U.S. According to CEO and president Bob Aylward, the location also aids in work-life balance, allowing employees to worker closer to their homes.
“I am looking forward to this expansion,” Aylward said. “It has been exciting to watch our North Texas Team grow, build local relationships, and to create a culture that encompasses the Jones|Carter core values.”
In 1996, Jones|Carter opened its first office in North Texas and has since built a clientele that includes names like Hillwood Communities, Western Power Sports, TxDOT Fort Worth District, Martin Marietta, the City of Richland Hills and the City of Fort Worth.
“It has been great to be a part of Jones|Carter's growth in North Texas. It has been my privilege to work alongside some great clients and work to continuously grow our team here,” said Bryan Kennedy, senior vice president of land development at Jones|Carter.
