Fort Worth, Texas magazine and Chef Tim Love invite you to the FINAL ROUND of the 2013 Top Chef Challenge. Four of the area’s top chefs, Anthony Felli of Del Frisco’s, Eric Hunter of Fire Oak Grill, Kyle Jones of Truluck’s and Todd Phillips of J.R.’s Steakhouse will compete for the 2013 Fort Worth, Texas magazine Top Chef award.

A panel of four will judge the competition, including head judge Tim Love of Lonesome Dove Restaurant and winner of national Bravo channel’s Top Chef.

The Tarrant Area Food Bank will receive 10 % of the ticket sales and will be showcasing the talent of its’ Community Kitchen Program. Their culinary students will provide an assortment of appetizers and desserts for guests at the finals including Shrimp Brochette (bacon wrapped shrimp stuffed with Monterrey jack cheese & jalapeño, topped with a honey mustard salsa) and Triple Chocolate Mousse (Chilled mousse topped with whipped cream & berries). Since 2007, more than 160 Community Kitchen students have successfully completed the program and 82% have maintained employment at least one year after graduation.

The winner will be featured on CBS 11 this Friday morning AND will be featured on the September cover of Fort Worth, Texas magazine as Fort Worth’s 2013 Top Chef. Former winners of this prestigious Fort Worth award are Blaine Staniford of Grace in 2012, Don Agate of Eddie V’s in 2011, and Donatella Trotti of Nonna Tata in 2010. Be there in person to witness this showdown like no other.
