If you have not experienced a meeting of "the Tribe" yet, now is the time as Levitt Pavilion Arlington welcomes Spoonfed Tribe back to their stage for a free concert at 8:30 p.m. Friday, July 20, for their final summer concert weekend.
Formed in Fort Worth in 1999, Spoonfed Tribe is known for mesmerizing live shows combining hypnotic walls of percussion, psychedelic sonics and sound-expanding visuals, especially their drum corps. Since their debut, the Tribe has remained on the road, building a large and loyal fan base inspired by appearances at music fests that include Voodoo Music Experience, Lollapalooza and Wakarusa, sharing bills and sitting in with acts like Mike Dillon, Blues Traveler, Wookiefoot and the Kris Lager Band. The Tribe has self-released eight albums, including 2010's Live from DFW, 2013's Weapons of Mass Percussion, and their most recent, Enjoy the Ride. Their free Levitt concert is presented by FW Weekly.
