A gig waiting tables at Woodshed Smokehouse landed Kenson Short the opportunity of a lifetime when Boo Weekley recruited him to caddie the Pro-Am preceding the 67th annual Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial Country Club.

The pro golfer was seated in Kenson’s section of the restaurant on May 19. After only a brief conversation and a fortuitously scheduled day off, Boo invited Kenson to caddie for him the very next day. Kenson traded a lunch menu for a golf bag and again served Boo to the best of his abilities...
