NOMINATIONS END JUNE 18

Cast your votes for Fort Worth Magazine's 2018 Top Attorney list. You may nominate attorneys in your own practice or organization, but they will be counted only if you nominate an equal or greater number of attorneys from outside your practice or organization in the same area of specialty.

We will recognize those nominated in two general categories: Attorneys in practice for more than five years and attorneys in practice for fewer than five years.

Reminder: Attorneys may not request or solicit other attorneys to vote for them unless the requested attorney has first-hand knowledge of the requesting attorney's legal ability, preferably having observed the requesting attorney in court or during a transaction. Please refrain from group email blasts that could be perceived as “You vote for me; I'll vote for you.”

Rules and Important Information

Every year, we recognize attorneys nominated in two general categories:

  • Attorneys in practice for more than five years
  • Attorneys in practice for fewer than five years

Attorneys of any length of experience may nominate other attorneys of any length of experience. (For the purposes of this ballot, the five-year practice period will be considered to have begun when an attorney passed the bar exam.)

You may nominate attorneys in your own practice or organization, but they will be counted only if you nominate an equal or greater number of attorneys from outside your practice or organization in the same area of specialty. For example, if you nominate John Doe from your firm in Family Law, you must also nominate a Family Law attorney from outside your practice.

Please note that your Texas State Bar license number is required for the ballot to be counted. We are only accepting online nominations. We do not accept mailed or faxed ballots. You may not vote for yourself and may only cast one nomination for each attorney.

Attorneys may not request other attorneys to vote for them unless the requested attorney has first-hand knowledge of the requesting attorney's legal ability, preferably having observed the requesting attorney in court or during a transaction.

Nominations will be held confidential.
