This self-taught chef has been recognized for producing the Best Dish at Taste of Fort Worth 2015, as well as Best Comfort Food 2014, Best use of Bacon 2014, Best Brunch in Fort Worth 2014 and 2015 from Fort Worth, Texas magazine's Best of Issue. He credits his grandfather with introducing him to his passion. He says, "To this day a simple cucumber sandwich takes me back to their lake house and making lunch out of the garden. He really sparked my interest in food from an early age." Stefon prepares contemporary American cuisine with Southern influence.
